In the winter of 2026, Igor Butman and the Moscow Jazz Orchestra will embark on a major tour of Latin America to present Russian jazz at key international venues. The tour will include performances in Brazil and, for the first time ever, in Nicaragua and Cuba.
This tour continues the Orchestra’s active work to strengthen cultural bridges and showcase the highest level of Russian musical art abroad. Starting in January, the orchestra will begin an intensive touring program aimed at international audiences.

The orchestra’s Latin American tour begins in Cuba: on January 30 and 31, it will perform for the first time in Havana at the Fábrica de Arte Cubano and the National Theater of Cuba (Sala Avellaneda). A historic event will be the ensemble’s first visit to Nicaragua, where they will perform on February 2 at the Rubén Darío National Theater in Managua. The tour will conclude in Brazil, a country Maestro Igor Butman holds in high regard: following triumphant performances in 2024, the orchestra will give two concerts on February 5 at the legendary Blue Note São Paulo club and will make its debut in Florianópolis at the Teatro Ademir Rosa on February 6.
This tour is an important step in strengthening the global presence of Russian jazz and confirming its relevance on the world stage. The tour is supported by the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Federal State Budgetary Cultural Institution Rosconcert.
