“It seems that we have already performed in all corners of our planet, but there are still places where our improvisations have not been performed. Cape Town is one of those cities! We have always dreamed of performing in South Africa. Jazz lives here, thrives and is one of the most important forms of art. South Africa has simply magnificent nature, and playing jazz in one of the most beautiful places on Earth is a real happiness. We are preparing for these tours with great trepidation and will do everything to present Russian jazz at the highest level. Let’s do the best we have!” says People’s Artist of Russia, saxophonist Igor Butman.
